Jeffery Smith

Pastor
Jeffery Smith has been a fulltime pastor since graduating from seminary in 1990. In 1994 he was involved in planting a church which became Covenant Reformed Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina, where he labored as a pastor for over 15 years. In 2009 he accepted a call to serve as pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Coconut Creek Fl, where he still serves. Jeff also serves on the governing board and as a lecturer for Reformed Baptist Seminary. In addition to preaching and shepherding, he has been involved in ministerial and theological training in the U.S., Dominican Republic, the Far East, and Colombia. He is the author of The Rich Man And Lazarus: Plain Truth About Life After Death, published by Evangelical Press. He and his wife Kelly have six children, four boys and two girls.

Nick Kennicott

Pastor
Nick Kennicott has been a pastor since 2006. Formerly of Redeemer Baptist Church in Rincon, Ga, Pastor Nick was called to Emmanuel Baptist Church in 2022. Pastor Nick is a former US Army Airborne Ranger (1/75th Ranger Regiment) and combat veteran. He is a graduate of The Baptist College of Florida and Knox Theological Seminary and is finalizing his PhD dissertation at Faulkner University ("Critical Theory, Postmodernism, and the West's Embrace of Marxism"). Pastor Nick is the founder and President of the Institute of Pastoral and Theological Training (IPTT) in Nigeria. He is co-author of In Praise of Old Guys: Pastoral Mentorship, Humility, and the Dangers of Youth, and a co-host on Wrath and Grace Radio. He and His wife Felicia have 2 daughters and 1 son.
Robert Diekema

Pastor Diekema graduated from Bob Jones University and has served in the pastoral ministry in Canton, Michigan and now for over 20 years here at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coconut Creek, Florida. Pastor Diekema and his wife Sara have 3 daughters and 11 grandchildren.

Paul Farese

Pastor
Pastor Farese has attended Emmanuel Baptist Church since the mid 1980s. After serving as a deacon for several years he was ordained a non-vocational elder on March 17, 2019. Pastor Farese has taught in the public school system for the past 32 years. He earned a Masters in History from Florida Atlantic University and is presently working toward a Masters in Biblical counseling from the Reformed Baptist Seminary. Paul and his wife Janis have had four adult children.
