Jeffery Smith has been a fulltime pastor since graduating from seminary in 1990. In 1994 he was involved in planting a church which became Covenant Reformed Baptist Church in Easley, South Carolina, where he labored as a pastor for over 15 years. In 2009 he accepted a call to serve as pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Coconut Creek Fl, where he still serves. Jeff also serves on the governing board and as a lecturer for Reformed Baptist Seminary. In addition to preaching and shepherding, he has been involved in ministerial and theological training in the U.S., Dominican Republic, the Far East, and Colombia. He is the author of The Rich Man And Lazarus: Plain Truth About Life After Death, published by Evangelical Press. He and his wife Kelly have six children, four boys and two girls.
Pastor Diekema graduated from Bob Jones University and has served in the pastoral ministry in Canton, Michigan and now for over 20 years here at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coconut Creek, Florida. Pastor Diekema and his wife Sara have 3 daughters and 11 grandchildren.
Pastor Wakefield was installed November 6, 2016, after completing a term as pastoral intern at Emmanuel Baptist Church. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) in Biology from York University in Toronto, Ontario, a Bachelor of Education degree (B.Ed.) from Trent University in Peterborough, Ontario, and is a former high school science teacher. He is in the process of earning his Master of Divinity degree (M. Div.) from Reformed Baptist Seminary. He and his wife Bethany have two sons.
Pastor Farese has attended Emmanuel Baptist Church since the mid 1980s. After serving as a deacon for several years he was ordained a non-vocational elder on March 17, 2019. Pastor Farese has taught in the public school system for the past 32 years. He earned a Masters in History from Florida Atlantic University and is presently working toward a Masters in Biblical counseling from the Reformed Baptist Seminary. Paul and his wife Janis have had four adult children.
