Pastor Nick has served as a pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church (EBC) since March 2022. Before joining EBC, he pastored Redeemer Baptist Church in Rincon, Georgia (a suburb of Savannah), for nearly 15 years. Originally from Franktown, Colorado, Pastor Nick is married to Felicia, and they have three children: two daughters, Eva and Abry, and a son, Nicholas.
Pastor Nick is a former U.S. Army Airborne Ranger (1/75th Ranger Regiment) and combat veteran who served multiple times in Iraq and Afghanistan. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Biblical Studies from The Baptist College of Florida and a Master of Arts in Classical and Christian Studies from Knox Theological Seminary. He is currently ABD for a Ph.D. at Faulkner University, focusing his dissertation on Critical Post-Westernism: Critical Theory, Postmodernism, and the West’s Embrace of Marxism.
He is the co-author of In Praise of Old Guys: Pastoral Mentorship, Humility, and the Dangers of Youth and the editor of Keach's Baptist Catechism in Modern English. He is the president and co-founder of Marrow Ministries, and regularly writes for The Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals, Reformation21, The Christward Collective, Bible Study Magazine, Logos Bible Software, and Ligonier Magazine.
Pastor Nick founded The Institute of Pastoral and Theological Training (IPTT) in Egbe, Nigeria in 2013, a degree granting institution primarily focused on indigent Nigerian pastors and ministerial aspirants. Pastor Nick has been the president of the Reformed Baptist Seminary (RBS) since 2024 and is the RBS residential professor of Classical Studies.
